ROUSE holds regular meetings (every 2 to 4 weeks) at the Brooktondale Community Center,
524 Valley Road, Brooktondale, NY.  The meetings consist of project reports, workshops, information sessions, and opportunities for networking.

Socialize and Make Apple Pies

We will be making as many apple pies as possible and giving them to the Brooktondale Community Center to freeze and sell at their annual Apple Festival on Oct. 22. The Festival is an important annual fund raiser for the BCC, and making pies is our way to thank Pat Brhel and the BCC for allowing us to meet there. Pat will supply us with the apples and all the ingredients for the pies; we just need to supply the labor. At the end of the evening, we will bake a couple of pies and everyone who worked will get a piece (strictly for quality control, of course).

BRING: Energy and a smile! Also, if you have any of the following, bring a rolling pin, pastry cloth or apple peelers.
